Breaker Morant and his Execution
If I was a relative of Breaker Morant, I would be disgusted to hear the news of his death. Not for what he did but for his extremely unfair trial and execution, and for the fact that I was not aware of this beforehand. I would be furious with him being prosecuted unfairly, because there is more to this story then meets the eye. For Morant was just following orders from his general Lord Kitchener. As a soldier on the field of battle it is extremely vital to follow his orders for there are massive consequences for not pursuing them. It was Lord Kitchener’s fault for the murders, not Morants. Kitchener used Morant as a puppet to do his bidding. And yet Morant was executed for just basically following his orders. It would disturb me knowing who the real killer was but yet still got to live without any suspicions against him and yet Morant was executed for his work.

Dear Sir Robert Cecil,
I am writing to you about the current case on Breaker Morant. The court has sentenced him to death for a crime that they believe he committed and no one else. This case should be looked into with more depth. Breaker Morant was a soldier on the field, and as a soldier you must follow and carry out the orders given to you, and Breaker Morant did as he was told. The real man behind the crime is General Lord Kitchener, he was the man that gave out the orders for Breaker Morant. And there would have been consequences if Morant hadn't carried them out. Breaker Morant shouldn't be executed and shouldn't be charged for the murder.
Sincerely, Emilio Morant
