THE SIEGE OF ELAND'S RIVER
When did the event occur?
The Siege for Elands River commenced on the 4th of August 1900. With on the day when the siege had commenced the defenders of the garrison had accounted of five soldiers killed in action and twenty-seven wounded in action.

Australian, Canadian, British and Rhodesian soldiers were stationed to defend Elands River.
